"Let me help," she said quietly. She didn't try to keep hold of his hand but she didn't break eye contact, either. Geralt seemed more monstrous but she had worked with monsters before - ones that looked perfectly human and were capable of deep wickedness. Whatever was happening to Geralt, she still trusted him and she still cared for him.
